The Saudi Space Agency celebrated the recognition of nine participants during the closing ceremony of the “Abaad” Astrophotography Competition, which focused on showcasing the beauty of space while connecting it with artistic creativity and national heritage, in the presence of officials, experts, and astronomy enthusiasts.

The ceremony honored winners across the competition’s three tracks: Deep Space, Solar System, and Saudi Space. These tracks were designed to engage professionals, amateurs, and beginners alike, aiming to encourage participants to explore space through astrophotography and strengthen their connection to the Kingdom’s cultural and scientific heritage.

This initiative reflects the Saudi Space Agency’s ongoing efforts to support creativity in space sciences and astronomy, inspire youth to develop their technical and artistic skills, and strengthen the Kingdom’s role in advancing the space sector and supporting sustainable development goals.
